To provide young entrepreneurs with a platform for growth, exposure, networking and brand positioning, 3Wise Magazine in partnership with Office of Limited Partnerships of The Office of Lagos State Attorney General, Naij.com, School of Media and Communication of Pan African University, FATE Foundation, Business Day, Jumia, Jobberman, Bellanaija, and the US-Nigeria Trade Council would be organizing a 3-day Youth Enterprise Exhibition tagged “YEEX Lagos 2013.”
The event, which was initially slated for 16th-18th May, has been postponed. According to the Publisher of 3wise Magazine, Tayo Adedugbe, a new date and venue would be announced soon. In a statement released by him, he said "We apologize for the inconvenience that might have been caused by the postponement of YEEX Lagos 2013 to our partners, participants and other invited guests. The postponement was necessitated in order to have our Angel Investors, Financial Institutions and Venture Capitalists available".
The exhibition which is endorsed by Lagos State Ministry of Commerce and Industry and is targeted at providing youths between the ages of 18-35, who are either just starting out or have been running their businesses for a while, have an
opportunity to exhibit their products and services to thousands of visitors for a period of 3 days.
Youths offering products and services in virtually every industry including Interior décor, Furniture, House and Office finishing, Branding, Modeling, Recycling, Tourism and Travel, Social Enterprise, Unique Innovations, Graphics Designing, Art, Film making, Media and Publishing, Photography, Poetry, Agriculture and Agricultural supporting tools/solutions, General Catering and Drinks, ICT and Technological tools, Social media marketing, Fashion , Hat, shoes and bead making, Watch and Jewelry making, Management Consultancy, Accounting Services, Oil & Gas, Laundry Services, and much more are encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity to showcase their businesses to a wide audience.
Exhibitors also have the opportunity to launch new products and services, meet with Financial institutions, Angel investors and Venture capitalists for possible equity investment and get useful media exposure in the YEEX brochure and website, 3 Wise Magazine, video profiling and websites of media partners. Also, one entrepreneur per day out of the exhibitors could win $500 of the Crowd-funding opportunity available.
Those who fall into these categories are to book a booth on the YEEX website, http://www.yeex.com.ng today. A booth costs N15,000 while an advert in the brochure starts from N10,000. Those who have registered have been advised to pay before the space allocated to them is reallocated to someone else.
