According to NDLEA commander in the state, Florence Ezeonye, the suspect was arrested at a courier house while attempting to transport the drugs concealed in a ‘spiritual’ candle to their agent in Vietnam. Ezeonye said the officer attached to the courier company became suspicious when the suspect arrived the company, insisting that his parcel be handled with caution. According to her, the officer took the candle from the suspect, and on closer examination, discovered that it contained drugs as well as a cheque of 500 Euros.
