10 reasons why lovers date their ex

1. Nostalgia

If you want to return to the good ol’ days, wear some jellies and listen to a mixed tape. Don’t use nostalgia as a reason to run back into the arms of your banished boo. Though you never believe it when you’re suffering, there will be others. Lots of others.

2. They’re Good in Bed

Sure, you had some good times with your former lover. But remember: your ex had time to get familiar with your body and kinks. You two might not have had earthquakin’ romps in the beginning, but you’ll probably only (conveniently) recollect the nights of burning passion that came later. Someone else can get you there—but these things don’t always happen overnight.

3. You’ve Changed

Maybe you were in a bad place when you dated. Perhaps you destroyed everything and realize that you missed out on something awesome. If you’re aware of your errors and want to give it another go, it’s worth a shot. Just know: your ex might not be so forgiving.

4. They’ve Changed

Allow me to contradict my previous statement-people (usually) don’t change. It is possible though. For example, did you date an alcoholic whose addiction tore your relationship apart? If your ex has made a conscious effort to fix the problem (therapy, AA, etc.), a second chance is worth consideration. Key word here is “consideration,” however. Don’t enter this situation blindly.

5. Your Family Wants It

It’s a tale as old as time: your family can’t stand your current squeeze and begs you to reconsider your ex. Your family may know best, but inquire why they clamor for your former love. Maybe they saw something that a detached diva like yourself missed. Or, more likely, it could be that they’re nosey and bossy. It’s worth a conversation, but don’t let their opinions be the do all, end all.

6. You Had Amazing Chemistry

While it’s easy to forget this, chemistry does not equate with compatibility. Being able to stare longingly into each other’s eyes doesn’t mean you have what it takes to last as a couple. An explosive, magnetic chemistry with another person is often just fickle hormones talking.

7. You Don’t Think Anyone Else will Love You

This is a dreadful feeling. I wish I could say something wise to evaporate the gut-wrenching insecurity we all experience at some point or another, but I’ve got nothing. So I’ll just say this: don’t run back to your ex if you’re doing it to feel better about yourself. This is the sign of an unhealthy relationship. It may take awkward first dates, an OkCupid account, a matchmaker and a fortune teller, but it is totally possible to find another love. Promise.

8. You’re Bored

No. No. No. No. NO! Just no. This is evil. Don’t toy with another’s emotions because you can’t get laid. Don’t delve back into the valley of the past just for cheap kicks.

9. You Just ‘Have a Feeling’

This one is tricky. Usually, this feeling stems from chemistry, nostalgia or boredom, but we’re too wasted on a crazy cocktail of hormones to identify the source. Talk to your friends and try to figure out why you’re really craving this person. Is it a legitimate reason? Side note: movies don’t portray love accurately and are not a good measure for relationship accuracy. So do not base your feeling on a wine-fueled evening watching The Notebook.

10. It’s Convenient

You have the same friends. You like the same music. Geez, we might as well just fall back into the same pattern! Hold up—no. Don’t do it. Maybe this is a sign that you two were meant to be just friends in the first place. Because guess what, those things that irritated you back then aren’t going away. Bottom line: you’re not doing anyone any favors by re-enlisting in a love war.

How To Love A Woman – 10 Ways For Men To Love

Men seek comfort, confirmation that they are ok. Most men are, at heart, uncertain about themselves. Men want answers to many questions, an important one is “How to love a woman?”

by Graham Phonix

how to love a woman
Do you know what love is? You form a relationship and get married to affirm your place in the world. You learn, you think, how to treat a woman, how to be with her. You call that love. But ultimately it doesn’t seem to work. You wonder where love went.
Perhaps it was never really love in the first place, perhaps it was an attempt to feel the comfort you found with your mother. A man’s wife, girlfriend or partner is not his mother. The love you need to show her is of a totally different kind. It’s critical that you understand this in learning how to love a woman. See Men Who Can’t Love for a view on why you might find it difficult to love your woman.
♦◊♦

Here are 10 ways to access this love and create an amazing relationship, how to love a woman:

1. Start by loving yourself

Start by loving yourself
If you are unable to love yourself, you are unable to love someone else.
This is something that men, particularly, have trouble with. You might respect yourself, think you are absolutely amazing, but loving yourself, that’s a bit sissy.
No it’s not, it’s the basis of life and the basis of a balanced personality. If you have a troubled relationship you should look, first of all, to yourself, this is often where the trouble lies.

2. Tell her you love her

Tell her you love her
This is lesson two of how to love a woman. Tell her you love her!
This means saying the words so she completely understands and is in no doubt about it. You love her. She needs you to say this all the time and she needs you to volunteer it, not say it in reply to her questioning.
The worst thing you can say is, “You know I do.” She doesn’t, that’s why she’s asking… Duh…

3. Just love her for herself

Just love her for herself
Your love is not conditional, it is not based on any special qualities. You love her.
Women have qualities we love in them, perhaps they’re smart, or sexy, or inspirational, or funny, or even rich. This is not why you love her, you love her just because of her, nothing else.
Even though you celebrate everything that she is, even though you worship her for what she does in the world, she needs to know that you simply love her, no matter what. This is so crucial.

4. Live in your power

Live in your power
Whilst a man in love is an emotional being he must not stop being the man he is.
Your love should come from the power inside yourself, from your very soul. The love must be part of your power as a man and it must be part of how you live.
You must remain just who you are, you must be the man she met and fell in love with.
She finds excitement in your masculine strength, particularly when it laced with love. Don’t ever let her down.

5. Don’t live in the past

Don't live in the past
Never dwell on the past and use it to judge your woman.
Life does not always treat us well and we certainly don’t always treat life well. Things go wrong and we mess up. Strife in our loving relationship is something to let go of once it’s over, it’s something to let slip into the past.
We must learn the lessons and move on ensuring that we don’t go there again. Move on and live, always, in the present.

6. Get to know her

Get to know her
How often do you say, “My wife doesn’t understand me.” What you really mean is, “I don’t understand my wife.”
Love can only grow and deepen through understanding. You can never get to the point where you think you know everything about her, no woman is that simple. She is a complex person that even she doesn’t understand.
You need to love her and get to know her with patience and determination.

7. Count your blessings

Count your blessings
Count the blessings you have together, the things you have achieved together, all that you are as a couple.
This should be a regular part of your life together. While I said, above, don’t live in the past, it’s ok to recount the great things in the past. This must be tempered with looking at the amazing things you are going to do in the future.
As a rule of thumb it is advisable to expect a future way beyond one that you can imagine. Expectations can lead to frustration if they limit you, expecting them to go way beyond is a good step into the future.

8. Give love, always

Give love, always
Love is about giving rather than receiving.
Love is a creative force that grows out of the desire to give more than you receive.
It is crucial that you are able to receive the love that is offerred to you otherwise it quickly dies, but you have to focus on the contribution you make to her.
“Give and you shall receive”, but give without expecting anything in return.

9. Pay attention to her

Pay attention to her
Women need attention all the time.
It is absolutely vital that you understand this. Many of the annoying habits that women have are merely attempts to get your attention. Take heed of them and pay attention.
Men are focused and directed and can easily lose themselves in what they are doing. This is one of the qualities that many women love in their men, but not to the exclusion of them.
You need to find a balance that shows how important your woman is to you without losing your passion for your mission.

10. Start afresh each day

Start afresh each day
Start again as if it was the first day of the relationship.
Welcome her into your world and look forward to your day together. Give her your love and tell her you love her. Do it again in a different way and repeat. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you where to go from here.
This refreshing of your love will keep it alive and bring you closer to each other. Through this your love will deepen and become an essential part of everyday you spend together.
♦◊♦
So what is love… really?
It’s an overwhelming emotion you have about another person, an emotion that you can’t truly explain but you can’t get rid of.
It makes you want to be with that person, hold them, touch them, have sex with them. It shows itself as an exchange of energy, a polarity, that excites your soul.
Love makes you feel great and totally transforms life. Love is worship of the other person, the woman who is divine for you.
Love is the power house behind our lives, it is the reason we live.

Is 15 Sex Partners Too Many For A 22 Years Old?

UNEDITED:

I had always planned to remain a virgin till I got married.. I tried to stick to this plan but at the age of 22 I lost my virginity and I absolutely loved it. Its 4 yrs later now and I have slept with more than 15 men. I'm currently in a relationship that I'm hoping would lead to marriage.

The other day my partner asked me how many men I'd been with before him and I said 5! I was too ashamed to say the real figure. Is 15 high? Whats average for a girl my age?

SEE GOBE: I Cheated On My Husband With A Man Who Now Wants To Marry My Sister!

UNEDITED:

I have only two weeks to confess or it would be too late. Years ago, when I was in England, I seduced one young man whom I eventually got pregnant for.
Though 10 years younger than I am, I couldn’t help myself as he had all the qualities I wanted in a man so I planned it all by inviting him to my house. I knew it was not going to be easy convincing him to have a relationship with me since I was still married to the brother of his elder sister’s husband. It was one of those days when my husband went to France. I wore one of my sexiest nightgowns, which showed off my fantastic body. It didn’t take too long for him to capitulate.
The relationship lasted for a year.

It ended with my husband finding out about it when I became pregnant. He was very scared of the repercussion of accepting responsibility of the pregnancy. The shame of our relationship was too much for him; he left for Scotland. I went ahead to have the baby against the opinion of my friends and family members who expressed the view that I was taking it all too far. They didn’t understand my passion to have a baby when my last child was exactly 10 years old. To be frank, I didn’t understand it my self, I was ready to forfeit my marriage because of my passion for this boy and his child inside of me.
Since I didn’t have his address or contact in Scotland, I bore all the expense of the baby on my own. My husband didn’t bother to come back to England. He along with our first and second sons settled in France, he allowed me to keep the youngest child; our only daughter, because of her age. Needless to say, my children and family were all disappointed in me but I was beyond caring. It was a burning desire to be loved, a satisfaction that I was still attractive enough to attract the attention of a young man and a handsome man too.
Before the incident, my marriage and life was in comatose, my husband was either too tired to pay attention to me or too busy making money to care that I needed that special assurance only a man could give. The excitement in our life was missing, I tired discussing the decline in emotion satisfaction with him but he wasn’t listening. I had no choice but to follow the trend among women in England, having young lovers to give them what their husbands at home cannot give. For me, it was more than fun because I found for the first time that depth that I only imagined but never experienced.
Well, I came back to Nigeria seven years after that incident to discover the man my sister is getting married to, to be the same man who is the father of my seven year old daughter. The mistake was made because nobody in my family knew him. All they knew about the incident was that I got pregnant and had a baby for a man. He met my sister in Nigeria five years ago. He did not tell her about his child or me. Seeing him again after all those years brought back my feelings. I went in search for him, and blackmailed him into sleeping with me.
The reason I am writing to you is that he recently called my bluff, saying I could go to the roof top to tell the world about our affair and the child. Agatha. I am not selfish but I love him so much. I want him for myself. How do I make him understand this before he marries my sister? I also want my daughter to know who her father is. She has of recent started asking questions about her father. I want to inform my sister that her husband to be is my daughter’s father. What do you think I should do?

TB Joshua Banned In Ghana Over Holy Water Deaths!!

A strict order has been given to the authorities of the T.B Joshua led Synagogue Church of all Nations, SCOAN by the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Christian Tettey Yehonu to quit hosting revivals at their Spintex auditorium in Accra due to the recently stampede in the church that claimed about four lives and left many seriously injured.
The stampede occurred as people struggled to secure better positions to receive holy water blessed by the Presiding Prophet, T.B Joshua.
DCOP Yehonu noted that the stampede that occurred at the weekend could have been avoided if the church had chosen a bigger venue to hold its events.
The police chief explained that “the place is too small to manage a congregation of that magnitude.”
He however suggested that the Accra Sports Stadium or the independence square were more suitable alternatives to handle a crowd of that magnitude and should be considered for use.
Meanwhile, officials of the Church who said it was the first time people died in any of their services worldwide, noted that they did all in their power to save the situation.
Reverend Sam Mc-Canan, a Reverend at the Synagogue Church of all Nations in Accra said, “What happened at Spintex is unprecedented, we are used to crowds and huge number,s but not something like this. We are a crowd puller, but we are not use to a number like this. This is the first of its kind, and we are very devastated about this.
“We are going to do a thorough work to ensure this does not repeat itself. Everything started orderly this morning, until 30 minutes when we heard a stampede outside the office.
“We went outside then saw some casualties lying outside there, and others trampled over. We cancelled the meeting and called the national ambulance to intervene.”

Married Abuja Big Girl Caught In Adultery Mess In London

From Olufamous blog:

I got a call last week from Mr. Olaitan Iwalewa, a London based Nigerian businessman, who complained bitterly about how the wife of a top government official in Abuja deceived him into believing that she was single, started a relationship with him and spend several nights with him in his London home.

Mr. Iwalewa told Olu Famous Blog that he visited Nigeria to spend time with his woman only to discover that Ajoke Tolani, who is the owner of Bubble Boutique and Accessories in Abuja, is indeed a full-time house wife. He thus stopped the unholy affair. But there is a big problem now; the crux of the matter is what you will read below:

From what Olu Famous Blog gathered, a melodrama is currently playing out in the adultery scandal between the wife of a topshot at Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) and Mr. Iwalewa who is bitter after discovering that his beloved woman was actually a wife to another man. Their long rosy and romantic relationship has gone sour and the man seems ready for a showdown.

The woman is denying her “ex-lover”, while the man has everything at his disposal to prove that they were romantically involved in a serious relationship that could have been altar bound if not that he discovered she was married.

Mr. Iwalewa told Olu Famous Blog that they met in London some years ago through a family friend of Tolani and they began a relationship without knowing that Tolani was married as a second wife in Abuja. The relationship, Mr. Iwalewa said had been rosy all through and Tolani who often comes to London to shop for her boutique spends weeks with him at his house in London.

Mr. Iwalewa who before now had misunderstanding with his wife and separated was planning to make Tolani his second wife legally until he got winds last year August that Tolani was a married woman. “It was when I came to Nigeria last year that I got the gist at the hotel she lodged me when one of the staff whom I have been good to told me that the woman that brought me here is married and known by lots of people.

“Immediately I heard that, I was shocked and scared of my life. I had to leave the place and left for London. Since then, she has been begging me because I refused to pick her calls.”

Now, Mr. Iwalewa wants Mrs. Tolani Afolabi to repay all the money he borrowed her which is about 3,000 pounds for her business and another sum of about N800,000 which he gave to her to use to lodge in an account in Nigeria. He said he met only about N100,000 in the account.

While trying to cover her acts, Mrs. Afolabi had told a soft-sell magazine that the man was her pastor and used to pray for her whenever she’s in London. But Mr. Iwalewa said it is a BIG lie. “I am not a Pastor, I don’t know what she meant, she stays in my house in London anytime she’s in town, I will provide you some of the text messages she has been sending to me including the one she sent when I refused to pick her calls after getting to know she is married.”

For several days, Olu Famous Blog tried calling Mrs. Tolani Afolabi to hear her own side of the story from her but it seems the woman has switched off all her three (3) numbers, permanently.

Anyway, below her some romantic SMS she sent to Mr. Iwalewa while their relationship lasted, as published in Global excellence, with her personal numbers:

Man Catches Girlfriend Having Sex With His 16 Year Old Son

A man who set up a video camera to film ghosts in his home had the fright of his life - when he busted his live-in girlfriend having sèx with his 16-year-old son.

Footage he hoped would reveal signs of paranormal activity in his Tasmania, Australia, house instead showed his two loved ones kissing and then having intercourse.

He confronted his 28-year-old lover - who'd lived with him for 11 years and is the mother of his young child - but she played down the October 2012 incident.

However, his son confessed to having sèx with her three times in the preceding days.

And in the following weeks, it emerged they went on to have sèx several times in a hotel room.

The man called cops. Officers questioned his partner, who admitted to having sèx with the boy and knowing he was 16.

She claimed to think the age of consent was 16, when it is actually 17, and said she was "ashamed and embarrassed" by her conduct.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to underage sèx at the state's Supreme Court on Monday.

The Hobart Mercury reports she will be sentenced next week.

Dear Men, Have You Ever Done This For Your Woman?

It is so loving and romantic to adore your woman as long as you desire and love her.
But I can bet it, many Nigeria men will never do this, you ask me why? OK, I stumbled on this Picture on a Nigerian site and was amazed with some of the comments from readers, mostly men on whether they can do this for their woman......See some of their comments below:

  • Besides I'm not her house boy...if she wants her nails cleaned, she should patronize female cosmetics saloons, they're quite affordable.

  • Is this supposed to be the height of romance? I say it is not.
  • He's going to start practicing colouring his nails.

  • Then I have news for you baby, your friend is gay, unless a girl will surrender the apple to me, there's is no need whatsoever to do THAT to her...for a mere female friend for that matter, how manly is that, you are the only one who can tell this outside, there is no need for any sane man to emulate your gayfriend.

When it comes to her romantic life, Dayo has had her own fair share, both on the positive and negative notes, in terms of news reports about it.

A MUST READ! Nigerian Indecency Star, Afrocandy's Dirty Secrets Revealed By Ex Husband

I came across this article as far back as 2011 so I decided to fetch it out again for you to have an understanding of her background and not be surprised when you see her doing Indecency film. In her most recent interview, she claimed she'll be doing a real Indecency movie. Yes live sex!

According to her ex husband, Judith had an affair with her landlord and neighbours, she called her boyfriend her uncle and DNA shows that he is not the father of her their second child which she later admitted.

Read the article below:

Looking at things happening to Judith Opara Mazagwu, aka Afrocandy, Nigerian artiste based in the United States, it appears that controversy is gradually becoming her second name. First, the video of her current work, Ikebe Na Moni, caused a stir on the Internet and major blogs, to the extent that angry Nigerians fired her hate mails. Currently, her marriage is a subject of controversy.

This budding artiste had told our sister publication, Daily Sun, in an interview published on September 3, 2010, that she didn’t dump her US-based husband, Boltin Mazagwu. She had said in that interview: “There has been lots of rumours going on about my marriage and it is only a few people who know the truth. The fact is, I did not leave my husband; my husband rather left, due to some gossip he heard about something that happened back in Nigeria before I joined him in the US. I begged him and he came back. When he left the second time, that pushed me to give him a restraining order. I really would not like to go into details because I see that as past and I will like the past to remain where it belongs because I have moved on; talking about it takes me backward.”
Boltin Elumelu Mazagwu, the artiste’s husband, who read the interview on line, has been furious. In his reaction, he accused Judith of cheating on him while their marriage lasted. He also said that a DNA test has revealed that he is not the biological father of their second daughter.

Revealing how he met Judith, Mazagwu said: “I worked a while is Lagos before I relocated to USA. I came for holidays with my siblings and my uncle arranged for me to get a wife. There were three ladies he wanted me to meet and choose from. On my way to check out these ladies, I met Judith, my ex-wife. Because I like fair complexioned ladies, I took her in my car and we got talking. She told me that her name was Sandra, which I later found out was false. She told me she was a student of IMT, Enugu, which was also false. She never enrolled at IMT. When I offered to drive her to her home, she told me she was staying with her uncle. I discovered that the said uncle was her boyfriend. My friend at Onitsha, Omoba, revealed these to me.

“The following day, I went to pick her up and we went to Enugu. After shopping at Onitsha, we came to Lagos, to the apartment where I lived at Ajao Estate. When I was going back to the US, I left the apartment for her. I was sending her money, although I had a hunch about her lifestyle. I remember telling her the day we met that my people won’t allow me marry an Owerri woman, since she told me she was from Owerri. After three months, I came to Nigeria and spent 11 months here with her. At this time, I had abandoned the idea of marrying the Onitsha lady I was supposed to marry. Judith and I stayed in a hotel because I lost my job and abandoned college back in New York. I got broke at some point during that period and I moved in with a friend, Christopher, at Okota. He really didn’t want me to marry Judith and it was a fight between us. He actually pushed Judith out of the house. People we stayed in their homes refused her.”

He said that members of her family opposed his relationship with Judith, but he ignored their position. He said: “They vehemently opposed our union and yet I wouldn’t listen. It was war in my family. My mum and my aunt didn’t want her. My people didn’t want me to marry her, even when she had become pregnant with her child; they told her after I managed to go back to New York, that they would gladly take the baby from her if she delivered, but that I would never marry her.
“When I returned again, I went to her parents; they appealed to me and told me that their people never get divorced once they are married. I respected their opinion because they are good Christians. When I went back to USA, my cousin who trades at Balogun gave her N200, 000.00 in 1995. You know the value of money at that time, but I paid back in dollar equivalent. All these were attempts to make sure that she got an apartment, which she did at No. 2 Alhaji Azeez Street Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos. Before the introduction of Western Union Money Transfer, I was sending money to her constantly. There was this African American publication called JET. I would put money in between the pages, seal it and sent it through Red Star every week. When Western Union came, my name became a household name at Oba Akran branch of Union Bank.”

He said this continued until, “2002 when she started talking about acting in movies. I objected to that and maintained that I didn’t want her to go into acting. I needed her to take care of the kids, full time and also to get her busy. We quarrelled over it that night and I almost gave up on her, but because of my polygamous background and knowing what growing up was for us, the idea of leaving her was knocked off. I also love my children, Annabel and Angel, so much because at that time, I didn’t know that Angel was fathered by another man.”

When asked what he meant by ‘Angel was fathered by another man, Mazagwu said: “When she sent me her pictures, I suspected, from the child’s facial features that she didn’t look like me. When I complained, she told me that the girl took after my mother’s people. She stopped at nothing to make me believe all her lies. She is a pathological liar. When I confronted her with the DNA results, she confessed that indeed, I am not Angel’s father and rationalised her actions to loneliness and temptation.”

On his allegation that his wife had multiply partners, he said: “In the apartment I rented for her, she had affairs with the landlord because she lied about her marital status. She didn’t tell the man she was married. It was only when trouble broke out that the landlord knew her real status. Also, a guy across the street, named Goddy from Abia State, laid accusations on her. She couldn’t deny this. I know Goddy; whenever I came to town, she would tell me that Goddy was a chief from Abia State and I took them that way, not knowing they were dating.”

One how the bubble burst, the angry ex-hubby said: “She started leaving the kids all by themselves. She would leave them and hit the clubs. I was boiling, but she had gone full circle. So, in January 2006, I came to Nigeria to investigate the whole thing and discovered everything was true. Before I returned from Nigeria she ran to the child support in the US to file a report that I had abdicated my responsibility. She went to the Nigeria Catholic community to complain. When I returned and told the church what had happened, it was
shocking to them.

My boyfriend kisses me and leaves a fountain of saliva in my mouth

UNEDITED:

So I just met this guy 2 yrs ago and so far, its been a good relationship. Could it be better? Definitely. I say this because he doesn't know how to kiss me deeply without leaving lots of his saliva in my mouth which I usually have to swallow because I don't want to hurt his pride by going to spit right after he kisses me. I've talked to him about it though jokingly. He says its because he's usually so turned on when we kiss deeply that he doesn't have control over how much he salivates. Do I leave a small bowl at the head of the bed when ever we want to get it on? Or do I say Adieu to this man. I don't know what to do as I have my own saliva and don't need extra. Advise please.

Don't Know Why Men Dump Me-Shan George

Nollywood star actress, Shan George may be beautiful and have a good sense of humour but she is one woman who will not discuss issue of marriage with anybody due to the fact that she has been so unfortunate in that aspect. First, she was Mrs. Nwosisi then she metamorphosed into Mrs. Momoh Osigwe and later to Mrs. Jaiyeola and before one could start to register the latter to her name she switched over to her maiden name again, Ms. George.
She was recently asked why she has been so unfortunate in this regards and she allegedly fumed with rage and responded thus “I don’t know o. sometime I ask myself why it happens like that. I don’t know why my marriages will just collapse like a house that has no solid foundation. Honestly it bothers me, may be I am just unlucky” While all these things are happening to the ‘Outcast’ actress, a lot of her friends who are so concerned about the way things are going for her, we learnt, advised her to go for spiritual cleansing or deliverance from one of the so called fire-for-fire pastors in town but she allegedly said to have declined and totally rebuffed such an idea. What could be wrong with this ‘mallato’ actress? Only divination can tell!

7 Possible Reasons Why Women Are More Tired Than Men

It probably doesn’t come as a shock, but women are more likely than men to be super tired.

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey released on April 12th indicated that 15 percent of women compared to 10 percent men reported feeling “very tired or exhausted.” And that gap widens when you look at men and women between the ages of 18 and 44 (only 9 percent of men vs. 16 percent of women).

Here are seven (not totally scientific) reasons we think this may be the case:

1. You might be doubling up on the work you do. Although we’ve made strides toward a more equitable division of labor, women still tend to do more hours of housework and child-rearing than men do. So women who work outside of the house as well essentially have two jobs.

2. You have too many weeknight plans. Women are overwhelmingly guilty of trying to be everything to everyone. We often expend all of our energy trying to meet every social obligation. It’s probably time to stop doing that.

3. You’re probably chronically stressed out. There’s nothing like a stress-filled week to seriously deplete all of your energy.

4. Babies! According to NPR, 25 is still the average age of first birth. This might contribute to the larger exhaustion gap we see between men and women in the 18-44 range. Raising small children is pretty damn exhausting.

5. You can’t shut off your thoughts. Women may have a harder time letting go of things that happened during that day when it’s time to go to sleep.

6. You might be dealing with greater financial burdens than the dudes around you. Seeing as almost all women in the U.S. are working in jobs which typically pay men more, it wouldn’t be surprising if some women feel dead on their feet from trying to make ends meet.

7. If you’re depressed, that can impact your sleep. Women are more likely than men to suffer from depression and depressed people are four times as likely to be tired.

Police Force Adulterous Couple To Walk Naked Through The City (Photo)

"They were abusing me, and that made us walk," said the man, Mumtaz Mirbahar, after the incident. "She was pleading with them, 'You have mothers and sisters of your own. Please, let me get dressed.’"
Mirbahar, 52, and the unidentified woman were arrested by police on charges of attempt to commit adultery. A second unidentified woman was arrested with them, although there were conflicting reports about whether she was forced to walk naked to the police station. Officials said the three accused were already naked when they arrived.
They were allegedly part of a prostitution ring that the community had been complaining, Irfan Baloch, a senior local police officer, told the news media. "The main mistake of the arresting police officer was that he ought to have covered them up," Baloch said.
Mirbahar was known in the neighborhood for throwing fuel alcohol dance parties during Ramadan, according to reports, one of the holiest times of the year for Muslims. Alcohol is forbidden by Islam at all times. Mirbahar said he was deeply affected by the public humiliation.

Man pours hot water on 13-year-old housemaid in Calabar

A 13-year-old girl, Precious Edu, has accused the brother-in law of her employer of pouring hot water on her.

Edu, who said she was denied the opportunity of attending school after she was brought to work with Esther Amunde and her brother-in-law, Papa, in Calabar, Cross River State, said Papa poured the water on her after accusing her of splashing water on him.

She said after the hot water left some burns on her neck, shoulder and chest, she was left to wallow in pains for two days until neighbours took her to the hospital for medical attention.

Narrating her ordeal to PUNCH Metro on Saturday on her sick bed, Edu, who is currently being treated at the Calabar General Hospital, said she was brought to Ekorinim area of the state from Obudu in the northern part of the state to work as housemaid on the agreement that she would continue her secondary education.

But the situation changed as she was allegedly denied schooling by Amunde, who insisted that Edu must not be distracted from taking care of her little son.

Edu said, “Sometime in 2012, one woman, Amaman appealed to my mother to release me as a housemaid to her sister, Esther Amunde, residing in Calabar because she needed somebody to stay with her.

“When my mother accepted, it was with the understanding that I would continue my schooling. I initially stayed with Amunde’s mother in Obudu for three months before Amunde came during Obudu new yam festival in August 2012 to take me to Calabar.”

Edu said on getting to Calabar, she worked full time as housemaid until September when she expected that she would resume school with other children.

She said she reminded Amunde to register her in a school in Ekorinim, but she turned down the request, saying her work was to take care of her son.”

Edu said, “Amunde refused to register me in school insisting that my duty in her house was to take care of her (Amunde) son.

“I was attending Girls Secondary School in my village and I was in JS-1. Even when I was with her mother (Amunde) briefly before coming to Calabar, she allowed me to go to school. But my boss said because of her son, I cannot attend school.”

Edu alleged that in the course of carrying out her duties, she was maltreated and abused by Papa.

She alleged that it was Papa that poured the hot water on her after a slight misunderstanding.

She said, “In the morning of March 9, I unplugged a kettle and was turning the water in it into a bucket when Papa said the water splashed on him. He soon brought a smaller bowl, dipped it into the bucket of hot water and poured it on me.

“When I told my boss about the incident, she neither reacted nor did anything to the burn. It was after my skin had had started peeling because of the burn that Amunde gave me two tablets of Panadol to use.

“However, when I went to fetch water from the borehole five days later, some neighbours saw my peeling skin and screamed. One of them took me to the general hospital.”

At the hospital, a nurse, who identified herself as Alice, said a child rights activist, Mr. James Ibor, was called and he, in turn, alerted the police.

Ibor said, “We have made written requests to the Cross River State Commissioner of Police to effect the arrest of Amunde and Papa to face the law because what they have done amounts to felony.”

The activist said what they did by taking Udu from her mother to serve as housemaid was human trafficking.

He said Udu would thereafter be taken to an orphanage where she would eventually be taken back to her parents after the wound had healed.

Efforts to get Amunde and Papa to speak on the issue proved abortive.

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. John Umoh, said he was yet to be briefed of the incident.

BIG BROTHER’S ZAINAB GOES NAK*D FOR AN AD? (PHOTOS)

After representing Sierra Leone in the Big Brother Africa Star game edition, Zainab O. Sherriff has ever since being the most talk of the house mates. She recently shot a pilot for her upcoming reality show and will soon be in Nollywood to star in a movie alongside Jim Iyke.

From sources, a Kenyan beads company called the Indigenous Beads of Africa approached Zainab’s management with an endorsement proposal to have the model sign as the brand ambassador.

Over the working days, she released photos of her in a Lord Shiba pose on instagram. The images show an almost naked Zainab with beads covering her breast. Posing like an India goddess, gossips are saying the photos were meant for a beads company but on a phone interview with the model, she denied the rumour and said she was exploring her creativity. “I was only playing indoor as a model with my new photographer, hello…” abruptly, she cuts the line.
