to death in Ede, Osun State. The pregnant woman, Lateefat Odediran was
allegedly beaten to death by one Tawakalitu
Musibau over a minor argument. Lateefat was said to have died 40 minutes after she
was rushed to the hospital, owing
to injuries she sustained from the fight. Police in the area have arrested Tawakalitu and
investigation has commenced into the
matter, it was gathered. Police Public Relations
Officer for the Osun State command, Mrs Folasade
Odoro, confirmed
the incident, and promised comprehensive investigation. She added that Lateefat's corpse has been
deposited at the Ladoke Akintola University
Teaching Hospital in Osogbo, for autopsy.
