The
surviving contestants of the Project Fame reality show heaved a sigh of
relief when they realised that none of them would be evicted this week.
As they all gradually approach the final of Season 5, all seven
outstanding contestants left in the show, paid tribute to the late
reggae icon, Bob Marley as they all performed a medley of hits from
earlier in the week.
During the course of the week, guest judge and season
one voice coach, Gogo Majin, paid a surprise visit to the housemates.
Also, by popular demand, they all repeated their best performances on
stage so far. All the performances were delivered with ease and without
the tension of elimination.
Christian kicked off with Maroon 5’s Pay Phone, next was Musulyn doing her own version of Ice Prince’s Oleku. Again Oyinkansade thrilled everyone with Adewale Ayuba’s Bubble
which got everyone cheering for this fuji crooner. Invoking the spirits
from West Africa, Ayo did an Afrobeat version of Style Plus’ Olufunmi. Adetoun once again did justice to Queen Salawa Abeni’s Gentle Lady.
Although Marvellous was nursing a sprained ankle this did not stop him from performing Bobby Brown’s Perogative just as Ella sang I Was Here
by Beyonce. The performances came to an end on a very emotional note as
